I have been a horrible book club member this past couple of months. I'm sorry! Has anyone finished reading "Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less"? I have to be honest, I haven't even started it. I put it on hold at the library right when Amy announced it, and I still haven't heard anything from them. I'm going to head over there on my lunch break and see if I can find a copy. If nobody has finished, should I wait to announce a new book for July? Or do you all vote that I go ahead and pick something? I'm cool with whatever...majority rules.
How is everyone's summer going?

Well if you're the worst book club member then I'm the second worst. I do have the book, but haven't even opened it. I can't even remember the last time I actually finished a book club book (or any book for that matter). I would still vote for moving on in July.
Summer is good. We're hoping our AC man can make it to our house this week to install central AC units to replace our 2 swamp cookers. So it's about to get a lot better :)
yes, let's move on. The library never got it for me either and dying for a new book...though, I'll be honest, I'm having a baby soon so we'll see. But since I pretty much have to lay around all the time, I need a new book! Cami, pick one! yay! Oh, and also, I want to see picture of your cute little belly that I just know you have. I wish we all lived closer together.
Ha, I have it on my nightstand but haven't cracked it open. I am fine if we use this one for July or if we pick a new one. Summer is great, I love DC in the summer!
I did read it and it was a pretty quick read. I really liked it actually. It was kind of an Oceans 11 kind of story with a twist at the end. Good entertainment. So I'm good with moving on. I'm loving these teacher summers with no responsibility so I'm just hanging out and visiting. It's fantastic!
Okay, I chose a new book but I am still planning on finishing the book AMy chose. I started it last week and I was very interested from the first few pages. Amy, just be patient with me and we can have a discussion when I finish it...eventually.
